Waiver of Liability and Exhibit Agreement

Gallery 12 will take all responsible care in handling your artwork, but assumes no specific liability in case of loss or damage. The gallery may determine whether any piece will be accepted for showing based on space or content considerations. The undersigned acknowledges this, and also provides permission for the use of their art in promotional materials as the Gallery sees fit. All accepted work must be for sale. The standard consignment fee for artworks sold is 35% of the sale price.


In signing this Agreement and release, I acknowledge and agree to the following:


  • Artists retain the liability for accepted artwork. Gallery 12 assumes no liability for artwork during housing or transit.


  • Artists agree to the terms set forth in the Call for Entry.


  • Selected artwork shall be delivered to the gallery by June 28, 2025, and shall be picked up after the close of show on July 26. Removal from the gallery walls before that date is not permitted. Artwork will remain in the exhibit from the opening date, July 3, 2025 until the closing date, July 26, 2025. Art may be hand-delivered or shipped. Shipping fees and insurance are the responsibility of the artist. Reusable shipping material and prepaid return shipping labels are required. Unclaimed artwork not picked up within 30 days of exhibit closing will be disposed of in any way that seems fit by the gallery without liability.

In signing this Agreement and release, the artist consents and agrees to this document and the foregoing pages.
